A share market is where shares are either issued or traded in.
A stock market is similar to a share market. The key difference is that a stock market helps you trade financial instruments like bonds, mutual funds, derivatives as well as shares of companies. A share market only allows trading of shares.
एक शेयर बाजार वह जगह है जहां शेयर या तो जारी किए जाते हैं या उनमें कारोबार किया जाता है।

First you need to open a trading account and a demat account to invest in share market. This trading and demat account will be linked to your savings account to facilitate smooth transfer of money and shares. Note that demat and trading account are different.

A trading account is used to place buy or sell orders in the stock market. The demat account is used as a bank where shares bought are deposited in, and where shares sold are taken from.
ट्रेडिंग अकाउंट का उपयोग शेयर बाजार में खरीदने या बेचने के ऑर्डर देने के लिए किया जाता है। डीमैट खाते का उपयोग एक बैंक के रूप में किया जाता है जहां खरीदे गए शेयर जमा किए जाते हैं और जहां से बेचे गए शेयर लिए जाते हैं।

- Proof of Bank Account (Eg.: Cancelled cheque, Bank Passbooks )
- PAN Card
- Passport Size Photographs.
